Printing from OS X

How to print from your Apple computer to the printer either in the CCR, or the Merifield print room.

  1. Open the Printers control panel from System Preferences

  2. Click the plus button to add a new printer

  3. Hold the Command button on the keyboard and click on the More Printers button

  4. Choose Windows Printing, and Network Neighbourhood for the two dropdown boxes. Choose the Wadham workgroup/domain from the list. Do not choose the wadham.ox.ac.uk entry.

  5. If you're in the main college site, choose wadh-wilma. Merifield users should choose wadh-betty.

  6. Enter the username and password you use for the computer room PCs. You may need to prefix your username with 'wadham\' (without the quotes).

  7. Choose the defaults to print with Postscript.

  8. You should end up with a screen looking something like this. You can now print to this printer as you would normally.
