I write to say how much I enjoyed the dinner held at Wadham. The food was excellent from start to finish. The service was impeccable, discreet, efficient and charming.

Good food, good company and good conversation are prerequisites of a successful conference, and they are very much part of the Wadham tradition.  You can enjoy a hearty breakfast in Hall or the New Refectory, with buffet or two-course lunch arrangements to suit your conference schedule.

Three and four-course Dinners in our 400 year old Hall are more formal affairs, with long tables, oak panelling and a soaring, vaulted ceiling in the hammerbeam style. You can look forward to imaginative menus prepared by our Chef. With candle-lit tables, fine food, and a selection of distinctive and affordable wines from the College cellars, Dinner in Hall creates a highpoint for your conference.

The Trapp Room seats 16

150 delegates can be seated in the Hall, 100 in the New Refectory, and for special functions the Old Library makes a perfect venue for up to 60 guests. The Trapp Room is ideal for more intimate Dinners of no more than 16.

 Our conference planning team will be pleased to help you to plan your dining arrangements, including morning and afternoon refreshments for your delegates.

Breakfast: 8am
Help yourself from a magnificent buffet of fresh fruits, cereals, toast and a full English breakfast with all the trimmings.
 
Lunch: 1pm
Lunch can be arranged to suit, from a buffet of delicious salads, cold meats and sandwiches to a seated lunch with a 2 course menu and coffee

Dinner: 7.15pm
An exceptional choice of menus from Chef, affordable fine wines and friendly, attentive service add up to a truly memorable occasion, as our customer reviews can testify!

Drinks Receptions



Garden Receptions. With year-round interest, Wadham’s gardens are among the most beautiful in Oxford. The spacious Fellows Garden is ideally suited to spring and summer events.


          Ante-Chapel

               

Receptions in the foyer of Wadham Chapel. The Ante Chapel is part of our original seventeenth century College buildings. It offers an elegant indoor meeting point for your guests.
You can choose from Sherry, Wine, Pimms, Sparkling Wine and Champagne Receptions. They are a perfect way for guests to get to know each other and relax before sitting down to enjoy a special dinner.


College Bar



The College Bar is open at lunch-times and evenings, on request, and provides a comfortable environment in which delegates can relax. The terrace is especially popular on summer evenings. Extensions to the usual times can be arranged if required.
