Services and Preachers

This term we will be hearing from different people about how their faith motivates or inspires their work. We will also attend the Intercollegiate Service at St Mary’s Church and will end the term with a narrative of Jesus’ Passion (crucifixion narrative).

1st Week, 14 January
‘Do you work on the Railways Miss?’
The Rev’d Wendy Wale is the chaplain of Wadham College following a career in Primary School Education. Wendy will be speaking on how her faith has influenced her work- and continues to do so.

Finding my Place in International Development
Dr Lucy Stevens works as senior policy adviser for the charity Practical Action. She leads on strategies relating to access to renewable energy plus water and sanitation. She grew up by the sea wondering what was beyond these shores, studied Geography at Jesus College and has spent most her life since finding out!
