Tel.: 01865 228224Email: sue.burge@ndm.ox.ac.uk Dr Susan Burge, OBE BSc (Bristol) BM BCh (Oxon) DM (Oxon) FRCP was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and completed preclinical studies in Bristol, where she intercalated a degree in physiology, before moving to Oxford for clinical studies. She was one of the first flexible (part-time) trainees in dermatology and this enabled her to combine raising a family (both children are also doctors) with research (completing a DM) as well as her clinical training.
