THE OXFORD LAW NEWS 2010 - Now available online
The Society is funded by subscriptions, currently £10 annually or £150 for lifetime membership. The Society provides a network for Wadham lawyers, its main objectives being to foster and maintain contacts amongst Members and between Members and the College and to assist the student section. Assistance to the student section takes the form of an annual contribution (normally around £500) to fund its activities, the funding of a newly established Law Finals Prize and responding to requests for funds from the Law dons to finance specific items of expenditure by holding events and by circulating a Newsletter once a year. Events include dinners in College, lunches in London and in College and drinks parties in London and Oxford. Each year the students visit London where they are hosted by one or more City law firms in the morning and for lunch, followed by a visit to Chambers in the Middle Temple and to the Law Courts. A Drinks Party is held in the evening in the Middle Temple which is open to all Members. If you wish to join the Society please contact the Secretary/Treasurer, James Dickson at: 3 Willowbridge Road, LONDON, N1 2LB. |
