The dinner was the culmination of an afternoon where Wadham Society members enjoyed an exhibition of rare books from the College’s collection, updates on College achievements and priorities for the future, the Society Annual General Meeting and a drinks reception in the Cloister Gardens.

The Wadham Society, made up of all College alumni, funds the Wadham Student Allocation Scheme which requests bids from current students for funding for worthwhile activities that enhance student life in College. Activities funded include yoga classes, the student gym, band room equipment and wine for the MCR academic dinner. Representatives of the student bidding committee attended the dinner.
