Wadham Women's 1st Torpid has gone Head of the River, a memorable moment in Wadham history, as the crew now holds double Headship following their success in Summer Eights last year. The Women's 2nd Torpid also performed exceptionally, rising four places by bumping four first boats, and retain their position as by far the highest women's second boat on the river.

The Wadham College Boat Club men also had a very successful week. The 1st Torpid rose from 11th to 6th position in Division 1, the highest position they have achieved since records began. Surrounded by strong very competition, M2 were unfortunate to drop five places. M3 climbed four places, finishing as the highest men's third boat on the river.

Womens crew member Stephanie Hall (2012, Experimental Psychology) commented: “We celebrated alongside our fantastic alumni at our annual Torpids Dinner on Saturday evening. Our success would not be possible without their support, alongside our sponsor, Raymond James, and the college.”
