The 8km Oxford Legal Walk had a Magna Carta theme, to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta and highlight the document's importance and relevance to access to justice today.

More than £600 has been raised so far for the Access to Justice Foundation, to support organisations giving free legal advice to the people who need it most.

Following the walk, Wadham undergraduate Holly Anderson (2013, Law) commented: “This support is vital in a society where funding for free legal advice is being curtailed to levels where many can no longer afford to access the courts.”
