Development officer Angela Jefferson was presented with a coveted ‘star baker’ award after judges Frances Lloyd and Jacqui Pearson declared her winner of the 2016 Wadham Bake Off. Her delicious strawberry cake took first prize, with special mentions for runners up Naomi Bryant and Sarah Mitchell-Butler.

Wadham staff, students, colleagues, visitors and tourists packed Wadham’s Dining Hall to taste the cakes and take part in the raffle.

Later in the week a Staff Breakfast contributed £145 to the coffee morning and raffle total of £633. Other donations, including a furniture sale, brought the total raised to a record breaking £1,406.

Wadham would like to thank all those who donated their time, money and baking skills to the event.
