Charity coffee morning and bake-off

A total of more than £1,060 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support following the College coffee morning, raffle, bake-off and breakfast.

This popular event organised by Wadham staff, attracted a steady flow of visitors to the College, many of whom took part in the raffle as well as enjoying coffee and home-baked cakes.

Warden of Wadham College, Ken Macdonald QC and Head Chef, Neil Mahon judged the ‘bake-off’, awarding first prize to Wadham staff member Angela Jefferson for her banana, carrot and orange cake. Wadham Chaplain Wendy Wale won second prize for her chocolate cake.
