Having rowed over on each of the four days of the Summer Eights bumps rowing competition, Wadham held off the challenge of a strong Pembroke crew to secure a fourth consecutive headship.

Christ Church M1 took the victory in the men’s competition, after holding off the challenge of a Blues-heavy Keble boat. Wadham M1 has moved up two places in the rankings, from eighth to sixth place.

Six Wadham crews competed for the sought-after Head of the River title at what is the biggest Oxford rowing event of the year.
