Wadham is celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight in the New Refectory on Friday 2 and 9 March with tasty Fairtrade treats on offer provided by our kitchen.

  • Fairtrade snacks

A selection of Fairtrade snacks will also be available, as well as information about Fairtrade.

With support from students and staff, Wadham plans to join the University of Oxford’s new Fairtrade accreditation scheme and will be publishing a commitment of intent to support Fairtrade.

Domestic Bursar, Frances Lloyd commented: “Wadham College is keen to back the University’s initiative to support Fairtrade and help build a sustainable future for us all.”

The theme of Fairtrade Fortnight 2018 (26 February - 11 March) is ‘Come on in to Fairtrade’, offering the opportunity to see into the lives of Fairtrade farmers and workers.  More information can be found on the Fairtrade website.
