Housekeeping queries should be addressed to the Housekeeper or her Deputy.

At the beginning of the year you will be asked to verify the inventory for the contents and condition of your room/flat.  Any damages or losses will be recorded at the end of each academic year and, under the Licence Agreement, there will be a charge for any loss or damage other than for fair wear and tear.

The Housekeeping department is made up of staircase scouts.  Students are asked to co-operate with scouts in helping them in the hard work of keeping staircases clean and tidy.  Although you are permitted, by placing a Do Not Disturb notice on your door and your waste bin outside your door, to restrict access until 11.00 a.m. on some days, you are asked to limit this to those times when it is absolutely necessary.
