The following lists some (though by no means all) of the financial support available to students from institutions outside of Oxford.
A good source of information on funding opportunities for graduate students is the National Postgraduate Committee.
Churches' Commission for International Students Hardship Fund: For International Students from Developing Countries facing unexpected financial problems during the final (6 months) stages of their courses. For more details please see the Oxford University website.
Abbott's Bursaries: A limited fund which can support sons/daughters of Clergy of the Church of England who are facing hardship. Applications by the end of Michaelmas Term. Forms are available by request from the Finance Bursar's Secretary. Leverhulme Bursaries: Available to Undergraduate Home Students who are sons/ daughters of a commercial traveller, chemist or grocer (see information sheet for definition - available from the Domestic Bursar's secretary). Applications should be made to reach the Trust by 1 November or 1 March. Further details can be found on the trust website.
If you are having financial problems we advise you to contact someone in the college as soon as possible to discuss your options. The bursars are often the best people to approach if you have questions about finance.
