Student Support Grants and Loans The College is concerned that students’ academic work should not be adversely affected by financial difficulties. The College has funds available to assist students who experience financial pressures as a result of unforeseen changes to their circumstances while at Wadham. Help may be given either in the form of a grant or a loan, or both. Normally the College would expect students to apply for assistance from the University Hardship Fund or from the Government Access to Learning Fund in the first instance. In considering the level of financial support available, the College would also expect the maximum student loan on offer from the SLC to have been taken - Student Support Grants and Loans Application Form [Word format] [PDF format] Vacation Grants The College has a number of grants for Undergraduates who have an academic reason to be in Oxford during the vacation - Vacation Residence Grant [Word format] [PDF format]
All of the above funds come under the umbrella of 'Wadham Student Support Funds'. The following funds are also available to fund specific student activities within college:
The Moser Fund: A limited Fund, which can support music/art activities by Wadham students. Applications should be made to the Warden.
CB Fry Memorial Fund for Sportsmen and women: This small Fund exists to help defray the additional expenses incurred by those participating in Sport at University, National or International level. Applications will be called for in Trinity term, and should be made through the Domestic Bursar's office.
