The Tutor Supporters are elected by the Students' Union, and may be consulted confidentially over any problems that students face. They are:

The Harassment Advisors are also elected by the Students' Union, and have been trained by the University on dealing with cases of harassment. Students may consult them confidentially about any issues involving harassment, and advice may be sought from them without invoking a formal complaints procedure. The Harassment Advisors are:

The Peer Supporters are students at Wadham who are chosen to be trained by the University Counselling Services in listening skills. They are bound by a confidentiality policy set by the Students' Union, and are available to either let people talk through situations which are on their mind, or refer them on to more specialist organisations. The current Peer Supporters are:

The Peer Supporters also run drop ins (in 28.1, the Welfare Room), three times a week in term time, check your inbox or email su.welfare@wadh.ox.ac.uk for more details. The peer supporters can also be contacted individually using the email addresses above, and they welcome anyone to get in touch outside of the drop in times.

The Tutor for Women, Christina Howells, deals with issues, problems or queries relating particularly to the life of women students in College, including academic, social and personal problems. She liaises with the Wadham SU Women's Officers (Caroline Bray and Georgina Howitt) and with Tutors for Women in other Colleges.

The Chaplain, Jonathan Herapath, in addition to supporting the life of the College Chapel, is available for the pastoral care of all members of College regardless of their religious affiliation. (Room 3.1, (01865 2)77 905)

Dick Passingham of the Department of Psychology has also kindly volunteered to offer counselling services to Wadham staff and students; see here for more information.

Nightline (01865 2)70 270 is open 20:00-08:00, 0th-9th weeks inclusive, and is a confidential listening, information and support service run by trained student volunteers.

Oxford Student Mental Health Network - a partnership between local education institutions and health service providers, which focuses on student mental health issues in Oxford. OSMHN provides: a programme of training and workshops for people who work with students in a variety of contexts, including higher and further education institutions, health services, the voluntary sector and private practice; and a regular newsletter which is sent out to over 300 members of the network, containing news and features relevant to student mental health. The Welfare Officers of the SU as head of the SU Welfare Team, can provide referrals or general information about a range of welfare services (su.welfare@wadh.ox.ac.uk).  The current Welfare officers are: Jennifer Wright and Jack Powell.
