Requests for Official Letters from College PDF Print

The Tutorial Office can provide current and former students with official letters related to their time at Wadham. These include academic transcripts, confirmation of student status, bank letters and visa letters.

Please note that we require at least two to three weeks notice to produce an official letter or transcript, and may only be able to produce one more quickly in exceptional circumstances. Please bear this in mind when making requests.

Transcripts:

Courses commencing Michaelmas Term 2007 and onwards
Centrally produced University transcripts are now in place for all students who commenced their studies in Michaelmas Term 2007, and have since completed their course. Copies of these transcripts are available from the University Examination Schools: http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/schools/examinations/transcripts.shtml

Courses commencing prior to Michaelmas Term 2007

For courses commencing prior to Michaelmas Term 2007 the College produces transcripts.

In order to request a transcript from the college, you are asked to submit a request form. You may either complete the word document electronically, and send it to theo.rnjak@wadh.ox.ac.uk, or print off the PDF document and post it to Theo Rnjak, Wadham College, Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3PN.

On-course transcripts

If you haven't yet completed your course you can request copies of your on-course transcript from the University. This will show your academic achievement to date but will not include a final classification. On-course transcripts can be ordered at a cost of £5 each online by credit/debit card at the University online shop or by post with payment by cheque by downloading the Postal order form (79kb).

If you have any further questions regarding transcripts, please email transcripts@admin.ox.ac.uk

Confirmation of Status, Bank and Other Letters:

For Confirmation that you are or were a student at Wadham, or for any other letter requests please submit a request form. You may either complete the word document electronically, and send it to theo.rnjak@wadh.ox.ac.uk, or print off the PDF document and post it to Theo Rnjak, Wadham College, Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3PN.

Verification of your degree:

Should you require confirmation of your degree and/or dates of attendance for employers, prospective employers and educational institutions, please contact the Degree Conferrals Office - University of Oxford Degree Verification

Council Tax exemption letters:

Students can print an exemption certificate themselves via the University Student Self Service registration system. All students should log-on at the beginning of the academic year to confirm their presence on course, and check/update personal and contact details.

Once you have completed the registration process, an "Enrolment Certificate" will be available to print and take to the Council Offices on St. Aldate's (make sure you take your Bod Card with you). If you wish to post the certificate(s) to the Council, you will need to have it stamped by the College; please call in to the Tutorial Office for assistance. Further advice on registration and exemption certificates can be found in the Oxford University's Registration Guide. The City Council website provides more information on Council Tax liability.
