[The 2009-10 Clarendon Scholarships will be advertised in due course.]
Clarendon Scholarships are open to Graduate students entering a new course of study at Oxford from October 2008 who are liable to pay fees at the overseas rate. They are tenable in any subject area for study towards taught or research Master's degrees or for the DPhil.
The Clarendon Scholarships are administered by the University, and applications are made through the normal Graduate Application procedures. More information on the Clarendon Scholarships is available at http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/io/funding/clarendon.shtml.
Wadham will be offering two College-linked Clarendon awards in 2008-09. One will be offered in the Humanities or Social Science divisions, and another in the Mathematical, Physical & Life Sciences or Medical Sciences Divisions - for either a taught or research course. The holders will have their College fees paid by the College, in addition to their University fees being paid by the Clarendon fund. The award made in the Humanities division will be given the title of Stinton Scholarship.
There is no need to apply separately for the College awards. Successful candidates will be chosen from those awarded Clarendon Scholarships by the University.
