The Iole Kolia Travel Grant PDF Print
In memory of Iole Kolia, a History and Modern Languages student at Wadham College 1997-2000, who died in October 2000, the College may award one or more travel grants to students travelling to Greece for educational purposes.

Priority will be given to undergraduates studying Modern Greek who wish to spend their year abroad in Greece, but any Wadham student may apply.

A total of £450 is available, which may be split between two or more applicants.

Applications, including a detailed statement of the proposed travel and its purpose, should be made in writing and sent to the Senior Tutor not later than the end of noughth week of Trinity Term 2010 - i.e. Friday 23rd April.

Please use the application form available here. Applications should be sent electronically to tutorial@wadh.ox.ac.uk.

This application will form the main evidence for awarding grants; it should show some reasoned purpose and plan for the proposed travel.  Applicants should nominate a college tutor, who will be asked for a reference.

Applications for grants for travel already undertaken will be accepted, and will be considered retrospectively. There are, of course, no guarantees.
