Dining rooms

Good food, company and conversation are prerequisites for a successful event, and they are very much part of the Wadham tradition. Whether you’re planning a formal conference dinner or an intimate supper for eight, Wadham College can meet your needs. From the majestic beauty of our 400 year old dining hall to the modern convenience of our refectory, we boast a range of dining rooms which reflect the history of the College from 1610 to present day. Our renowned chef will prepare menus to suit your occasion and our staff will assist with fine wine selection.

Receptions

With year-round interest, Wadham’s gardens are among the most beautiful in Oxford. The spacious Fellows' Garden is ideally suited to spring and summer events.

Wadham's gardens

A marquee in Wadham's stunning Fellows' Garden provides a weather-proof summer venue for a drinks reception.

If you’re looking for something a bit different, choose a reception in the foyer of Wadham Chapel. The Ante Chapel is part of Wadham’s original seventeenth century College buildings. It offers an elegant indoor meeting point for your guests.

For an informal and relaxed reception, the College Bar is the perfect location, spilling out onto the terrace when the weather is fine.

We offer Sherry, Wine, Pimms, Sparkling Wine and Champagne Receptions - a perfect way for guests to get to know each other and relax before sitting down to enjoy a special dinner.
