“That Thing about Faith…”
Wadham Chapel is a space for people of all faiths and none to come and explore meaning as they take time out from everyday life. This term we have asked a range of Chapel regulars to speak on what faith means to them, what puzzles them and how they express it in their lives.
3rd Week, May 6
‘What’s Wrong with Charity?’
Margo Munro Kerr sings in Wadham Chapel Choir. She is a 4th year undergrad reading Persian and Turkish. She works to support refugees and asylum seekers in
Oxfordshire and Northern France.
4th Week, May 13
Ascension Day Sunday
Nhlakanipho Mkhize (Nipho for short) is a Rhodes Scholar reading for a DPhil in Material Science. His work deals with nanoscale materials and their printing to form high resolution structures for a variety of applications. He is currently a sub-dean at Wadham. He is a practising Catholic hailing from South Africa and once considered becoming a priest. He is a keen squash amateur (when not injured) and is usually found listening to sacred music whilst contemplating life and its quirks.
5 Week, May 20
JJ Warren is one of our Chapel Wardens. He has joined us across the pond from Sarah Lawrence College in New York City. He is in the process of Ordination to be a vicar in The United Methodist Church, and is here studying Hebrew and Theology.
6 Week, May 27
Rev’d Wendy Wale is Chaplain of Wadham College and owner of Jonah Wale the college ‘cat’.
This week we will be welcoming the girls’ choir from All Saints Northampton to sing with Wadham Chapel Choir.
