Traditional services of lessons and carols, led by the Wadham College Chapel Choir, marked the first two Sundays of Advent.

The Carols by Candlelight services were led by College Chaplain, the Rev’d Dr Benjamin Williams, with the choir directed by Dr Katharine Pardee. The organ was played by Chapel Organist, Dr Julian Littlewood.

The lessons for the alumni carol service were read by Duncan Enright (Physics, 1982); Bob Carnell (Classics, 1954); Eleri Seddon (PPE, 2006); Liz Gresham (Chemistry, 1991); John Carr (Mathematics, 1969); Nerys Owen (Law, 1982); and Lord Macdonald.

The lessons for the College carol service were read by Jack Noutch, SU Member; Daniel Zajarias-Fainsod, MCR President; Dr Jane Garnett, Fellow; Anya Metzer, SU President; Rebecca Morris, Conference and Events Administrative Assistant; Faith McGlothlin, Sarah Lawrence Programme; and Ken Macdonald QC, Warden.
