In what Stephanie describes as “a brilliant way to end the season”, she fought off competition and will now progress into IM1 which pits her against some tough opposition over the winter.

Commenting on her victory, Stephanie said: “It shows me just how far I have come over the course of the year, having never raced in the single scull before July last year. Of course, this progress would be impossible without my coach, Rod Andrews. Rain or shine he's on the bank, looking for anything that could make the boat go a little faster, and motivating me to stay focused and give every session 100%. With his help, I have achieved so much more than I ever imagined I could, and so any success is as much down to him as it is to me!”

Stephanie rowed in the Wadham women’s first eight crews in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and has gone on to coach Wadham's M2, as well as coaching the winning Christ Church Regatta crew in 2016.
