A bouncy castle, toys and games kept the children entertained while alumni were able to catch up with friends and enjoy strawberries, Pimms, cakes and savoury delights from the Wadham kitchens.
Among the guests, some of whom had travelled from as far away as Canada, Poland, Singapore and the USA for the event, were Foundation Fellows Stephen Stow, Michael Peagram and Kenneth Woods.
Former students who matriculated in the 1940s attended the event, including Peter McLean CMG OBE (Geography, 1944), Eddie Tyson (Physics, 1948), Jim Cocke (History, 1947), John Heath (Classics, 1949) and Edward Jones (History, 1949).
In his address to guests, Warden Ken Macdonald QC gave special thanks to alumni for their vital support for the College year on year. He also encouraged guests to take a look at the new Back Quad development - the access centre and undergraduate centre. Thanks were also made to the Head Butler, Darren Munt, Chef, Neil Mahon, and their respective teams for their hospitality and hard work.
Wadham looks forward to welcoming alumni to future events in College and all over the world.
