The winning designs were submitted earlier this year and selected by Wadham SU Arts Officer Lowri Spear (English, 2018) and Warden of Wadham College, Ken Macdonald QC.

“It’s great to see so much artistic talent at Wadham,” commented Lowri.

The winning postcard designs are by Jacob Bakermans (Systems Biology, 2016), Phoebe Bachsleitner (PPE, 2017), Clare St George (English, 2018), Xinlan Cook (Synthesis for Biology & Medicine, 2017), Zoe Lewis (Physics, 2017), Alan Slater, Porter and Tim Kirtley, Librarian.

The competition is led by Francesca Best (PPE 2017), who launched the project in 2018, since when more than £350 has been raised for Crisis from the original set of eight cards.

These cards, along with the original eight, will go on sale in Wadham’s Lodge from Monday 24 February for a suggested donation fee of 50p each. Money raised from the donations will go to the homelessness charity Crisis.
