In addition to updates from Wadham academics and staff, Wadham students report on recent sporting achievements, and clubs and societies share their news.

Among the features Fellow Jane Garnett marks the centenary for the Armistice Day commemoration; Tony Pinkney (English, 1979) explores the relationship between Thomas Hardy and Wadham; Les Norman (Mathematics, 1948) reminisces on his Wadham days; Geoff Brooker, Emeritus Fellow and Gazette Editor, finds fault with the Royal Arms in Wadham's Front Quad; and David Stanbury (Modern History, 1960) explores the writing of Francis Kilvert, alumnus and country clergyman.

Book reviews, academic results, a who's who, and a 2020 events listing all make up the 2019 Gazette. You can download a copy below or if you would like a hard copy, and your's hasn't arrived, do let us know at development.team@wadham.ox.ac.uk.
