Wadham students, led by our SU Women’s Officers Leah Mitchell (Lit Hums, 2019) and Lisa Muttonen (Jurisprudence, 2019), are  taking over the college Instagram account to post videos and written statements by Wadham women past and present with their International Women’s Day reflections.

Five talented student artists (Mia Sorenti, Fred Seddon, Isobel Falk, Izzy Legge, and Kiri Ley) have produced IWD-themed artwork, which has been used on T-shirts and sweatshirts selling to Wadham students to raise money for the charity Sisters Uncut.

IWD student events also include an open mic night at 8pm today on Zoom, featuring some of Wadham's amazing women musicians and poets. Then on Thursday 11 a virtual IWD-themed bar quiz will take place. Check out the Wadham SU Facebook page for details.

Sisters Uncut is a charity combatting and supporting the survivors of domestic, sexual, gendered, and state violence.
