Dr Olivia Vázquez-Medina's essay wins the prize for best article published in 'Contemporary Literature' in 2022
Dr Olivia Vázquez-Medina, our Tutorial Fellow and Associate Professor in Spanish, has been awarded the L.S. Dembo Prize for the best article published in the journal Contemporary Literature in the 2022 volume year. The essay, ‘Samanta Schweblin’s Fever Dream: Watery Toxicity, Percolating Disquietude’, explores the interconnections between environmental degradation, fear, and literary form in this novel.
