Sarah Jenkinson is Stipendiary Lecturer in Organic Chemistry.

Her research is in organic synthesis, using carbohydrate building blocks to generate biologically interesting compounds. We are also interested in the synthesis of rare and branched sugars to allow access to new building blocks. Target compounds range from potential diabetes and cystic fibrosis drugs to anti-cancer agents.
