Wadham College admits a number of students each year to study for one of the PGCE courses offered by the University’s Department of Education.

The Course

PGCE students at Wadham are provided with a college advisor who will be a Fellow of the College, ideally researching and teaching in the subject area in which the PGCE student will be specialising. Given the range of Fellows’ research interests at Wadham, we are therefore able to admit for the PGCE courses in Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), English, History, Mathematics and Modern Languages; we do not admit for the courses in Geography or Religious Education.

Further details about the PGCE course can be found here.
