Whether you are planning a large conference, a top-level business meeting or a small academic gathering, Wadham College offers a variety of rooms to meet your needs, located in the historic centre of Oxford.

Meeting Rooms

Wadham offers LCD projectors in each of the meeting rooms, site-wide Wi-Fi access and on-call IT support during the meeting. Please find room specifications and facilities below. 

We are happy to advise on the room to suit your specific event requirements, and to create a bespoke event quote based on your detailed needs. 

Holywell Music Room: Seats 194 maximum in theatre style only, hearing induction loop system available, step-free access in to the main theatre.

History of the Holywell Music Room

Moser Theatre: Seats 130 in theatre style with tiered seating. Can be also arranged as classroom for 60. Hearing induction loop system and lift access available. 

Okinaga Room: (Summer only) Seats 100 in theatre style, 68 in classroom style, hearing induction loop system, ground floor step-free access. 

Knowles Room: Seats 40 in theatre style, 18 in classroom style, 1st floor with limited lift access. 

Lee Shau Kee Seminar Rooms: Seats 70 in theatre style, 40 in classroom style; room can be divided into seminar rooms A and B, capacity 35 each, hearing induction loop system available, first floor wheelchair access via lift in room A.

The C. Day-Lewis Room: Seats 30 in theatre style, 16 in classroom style, ground floor (but a few steps along the way). 

Gillese Badun Room: Seats 40 in theatre style, ground floor step free access. 

Tower Room: Seats 14 in boardroom style only.

Conferences, Summer Schools and Residential Meetings

Ideal for residential or non-residential conferences, Wadham can cater for gatherings of various sizes. In addition to a range of meeting rooms, we have a variety of different dining options as well as an array of bedroom types to choose from.

We can offer up to 250 beds for various purposes during the University vacation times. You can find term dates here (please note we class 0th and 9th week as term). 

If you have a larger event in mind, why not consider expanding some of the functions to be held at one or event both of our annexes. 

We will be pleased to help you to plan your conference including catering arrangements, such as morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as accommodation for your delegates.
