Wadham’s gardens provide a place of calm, rest, and beauty for our community and visitors.
Dorothy Wadham founded this college in 1610 with high ideals: to make the pursuit of learning available to ‘the poor and needy’. Wadham is one of the largest in Oxford with 250 graduate students and 450 undergraduates.
Wadham College was founded in 1610 in the reign of King James I by Nicholas and Dorothy Wadham.
The College has a number of policies, procedures and regulations to guide it.
