Wadham’s access and outreach team provides a responsive and inclusive programme to help young people make informed choices about their futures.
Our Link Regions
Under the University’s Regionalisation Scheme, each Oxford College focuses their outreach work on particular local authorities across the UK. Our link regions are Barking and Dagenham, Bedford and Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hackney, Havering, Islington, Luton, Newham, Redbridge and Tower Hamlets.

The Wadham Project
Open to all state schools in Bedfordshire, Central Bedford and Luton.
Application Support
Wadham offers workshops to link schools to support university applications including the Oxbridge application process. These include:
- Writing a Personal Statement Workshop
- Editing a Personal Statement Workshop
- Interview Workshop

Summer Schools
Wadham runs five-day residential summer schools each August for Year 12 pupils.
Access to Banking
A programme for Year 12 students, funded by and run in collaboration with Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank.
Think Like a Lawyer
A programme for Year 12 students, funded by and run in collaboration with global law firm, Linklaters.
