Our Black History Month talks are available to view

We marked Black History Month this October by inviting distinguished alumni and friends of the College to share insights from their careers and experiences at events hosted by our students. These inter-generational conversations brought together Wadham's current students and our former students and living storytellers of the College's own black history, imperfect as that history may be, for thought-provoking discussions and reflections. We were honoured also to host external guest, Siddharth Kara.

The events with screen-writer, Abby Ajayi (Law, 1998), hosted by Fatima El-Faki and Kadija Owusu-Kabba; ceramic and performance artist, Shawanda Corbett (DPhil Fine Art, 2018), hosted by Harin Turrell and Alexander Stavrou; and author, filmmaker, and researcher, Siddharth Kara(University of Nottingham), hosted by Zarin Fariha are available to view below or on Wadham's YouTube channel.
