For our sixth annual Giving Day, 7-8 May, we celebrated the people who make Wadham unique.

We come together each Giving Day to support the initiatives that make Wadham a vibrant and inspiring place to learn, grow, and thrive. The generous donations we received will fund bursaries, research, and the tutorial teaching that ensures every student has the opportunity to succeed.

This year, Giving Day events included a Students vs Tutors pub quiz (well done to the victorious Tutors!) and a plant and bouquet sale from our grounds, organised by Head Gardener, David Perdiguero Blanco, and Lodge Manager, Gulen Acikgoz. Our students ran a bake sale, with proceeds going to Gendered Intelligence. Our Housekeeping team have been tracking their steps over the year, with a combined total of 32,520 miles - enough for a trip around the world! We've heard from Fellows, staff, and alumni about what makes Wadham such a great place to be, while our students shared progress towards our Giving Day target in chalk drawings outside the College entrance. A special item from another Wadham artist was up for auction. Our Librarian, Tim Kirtley, has continued the tradition of creating a beautiful artwork. For Giving Day 2025, Tim provided a beautiful hand-drawn pastel of the College.

We are grateful for our donors' support. This is invaluable in helping us continue to advance knowledge and innovation, and to make a lasting impact on our community and beyond. Our alumni play a crucial role in Giving Day, sharing their experiences and giving back to the College that helped shape their lives.

There is still time to get involved! Find out more about our Giving Day and make your gift.
