Three Wadham Academics made Full Professors

Wadham is proud to have its academics receive recognition for excellence in research, teaching, and wider University life.

Wadham is pleased to announce that Emma Cohen, Monika Gullerova and Alfonso Castrejon-Pita have been made full Professors, with immediate effect.

Emma Cohen is Fellow in Human Sciences at Wadham College and is now a full Professor at the Institute of Human Sciences.

Monika Gullerova is a Lee Placito Fellow in medicine at Wadham and is now a full Professor at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology.

Alfonso Castrejon-Pita is a Tutorial Fellow at Wadham and is now a full Professor at the Department of Engineering Science.

Emma says, "I have been very lucky to have benefitted from the generous support of everyone at Wadham over these past 10 years in post... Thank you – without Wadham’s vision and values, and your support, it wouldn’t have been possible.”

Monika says, "I’m delighted to be awarded the title of Professor in molecular medicine. I am very grateful for the opportunities to meet and work with many talented scientists from all around the world. It is a huge privilege to be a fellow of Wadham College and Sir William Dunn School of Pathology.”
