Pablo Pryluka

Koch History Centre Fellow

Pablo Pryluka is an Assistant Professor of History at The City College of New York - CUNY. He is a historian of modern Latin America and the world, with interests at the intersection of economic, social, and environmental history.

At the Koch History Centre, Pablo will be working on his current book project, Developing Consumers: A History of Wants and Needs in Postwar South America. The book shows how developmental policies to modernize material life reshaped the region in the postwar decades by altering perceptions of welfare and material needs.
