Latest news

Minister of State for Universities, Jo Johnson, welcomed the Wadham Impact Report 2017 which reviews the Access and Outreach work carried out by the College as part of the Access to Excellence Programme.

Our March Telephone Campaign reached more than 350 alumni. Student callers and alumni swopped stories and shared news and over half of those contacted made a gift, pledging a total of £190,000 to the Wadham Fund.

The Richard Koch Breakthrough Prize, organised by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) in London, is the brainchild of Wadham alumnus Richard Koch (History, 1968). The prize rewards transformative ideas which help improve the prosperity of the bottom third in advanced economies.

Stained glass repairs are almost complete following a lightning strike which damaged Wadham’s magnificent 17th Century Chapel East Window.

Wadham alumni based in and around Singapore gathered at Sum-Yi-Tai in the Telok Ayer district of the City at an event hosted by Eu-Yen Tay (Law, 2002).

As part of the College’s Access to Excellence programme, students from Bishop Challoner Catholic Schools in Tower Hamlets visited Wadham. This was one of eleven Aspiration Days organised by Wadham College for 20 visiting school groups during Hilary Term.

Featured Events

All alumni are warmly invited for drinks and dinner in London on 26 April. Simon Milner (History, 1985), will be speaking about Facebook's impact on the modern political landscape and challenges faced with the rise of fake news.

Clubs and societies
