A slice of the student experience from a jam-packed Trinity Term 2023.
Wadstock
Many of our staff and students were involved in planning the festival, performing, supporting on the day, and in the clear-up operation afterwards. With 850 tickets sold, and the general release selling out in 15 minutes, the hype was huge! The Oxford Blue's review suggests the event matched expectations:
"Overall, Wadstock 2023 was both a respite from the reminder that we live in a city where fun only punctuates a life of essay crises, and a sesh for the history books in any city."
Tortoise Fair
Wadham's Archie raced to second place in the inter-collegiate tortoise race. The strong silver medal performance raises hopes of a top spot on next year's podium.
Summer Eights
All the boating teams did Wadham proud in their Summer Eights performances. Check out the results on the Oxford University Rowing Clubs website.
SU Arts Week
Students got creative at the SU Arts Week, taking a break from the final stretch of the academic year for some therapeutic self-expression.

The Comedy of Errors
Muddled identities wreak havoc in Ancient Greece! Wadham's gardens set the backdrop for the confusion, calamity and awful puns that unfold in Shakespeare's chaotic comedy, performed by the Wadham Drama Society.
