Anirudh Belle

Biography

Anirudh Belle holds the Law Society Fellowship at Wadham. His research and teaching are in private law – focusing on Equity, trusts, the law of property, and contract.

Prior to joining Wadham, Anirudh was a lecturer in private law at Pembroke College, Oxford. He undertook this role alongside doctoral study at Oxford, supervised by Professor Ben McFarlane and Dr Aruna Nair.

At Oxford, Anirudh has previously co-convened the Faculty of Law’s Obligations Discussion Group and the Private Law Postgraduate Research Students’ Discussion Group.

Prior to taking up doctoral studies, he read, as an Inlaks Scholar, on the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) programme at Oxford, graduating with a Distinction. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the Jindal Global Law School (India) and a B.A. in Economics degree from Loyola College, Chennai (India).
