Casual Catering Service Assistants

Wadham College, one of the largest Oxford Colleges, is looking for casual workers to assist with general tasks in our catering services department (SCR/Hall) to help with serving food, clearing areas and cleaning.

The working hours are flexible and work will be offered on an "ad hoc" basis as and when there is work to be done. Around 20-30 hours a week are available.

Salary: £14.06 per hour

Successful candidates should have excellent customer service skills and experience of serving food (ideally in a College, or within the hospitality industry). You must be reliable, able to travel to central Oxford, be able to work on a flexible basis, have good communication skills and be able to follow instructions.

Casual workers must be able to work to a high standard of cleaning and hygiene. The work will involve physical tasks such as lifting and carrying.

Morning and lunchtime shifts are available between 7am-3pm as well as weekend shifts (day and evening) with the possibility of additional hours. Training and some uniform will be provided. Accommodation and parking is not available.
