Casual Lodge Receptionists
Wadham College is looking for a number of Lodge Receptionists to join us at the main college site on a casual basis.
Wadham College, one of the largest Oxford colleges, is looking for casual Lodge Receptionists to work on an ad-hoc basis, with flexible positions available covering both day and night shifts. Wadham College is looking for individuals who can work days, nights, or both as there is a wide range of flexibility in shifts that can be offered. The Lodge is not only front of house, but in many ways it is the hub of the College and the role of a Lodge Receptionist is vital to the efficient running of the College. You will never be working on your own and an experienced colleague will always be working with you.
As a Lodge Receptionist you are expected to be knowledgeable about College life and rules, to be polite and helpful when dealing with both members of the public and the wider college community, yet firm when the occasion warrants.
Salary: £12.49 per hour

The post-holder will need to have customer service experience, excellent communication skills, good administrative skills and be able to use their own initiative and deal effectively with any issues that may arise. Experience of working in an Oxford College is not essential and training will be provided in the role.
The normal working hours fall between 19:00-07:00 for night shift and 07:00-19:00 for the day shift but flexible shifts can potentially be discussed to suit candidates.
