Casual Lodge Receptionist

Wadham College, one of the largest Oxford colleges, is looking for a casual Lodge Receptionist to work on flexibly on an ad-hoc basis covering both day and night shifts.

The Lodge is not only front of house, but in many ways it is the hub of the College and the role of a Lodge Receptionist is vital to the efficient running of the College. As a Lodge Receptionist you are expected to be knowledgeable about College life and rules, to be polite and helpful when dealing with both members of the public and the wider college community, yet firm when the occasion warrants.

Salary: £11.83 per hour

The post-holder will need to have customer service experience, excellent communication skills, good administrative skills and be able to use their own initiative and deal effectively with any issues that may arise. Experience of working in an Oxford College is not essential and training will be provided in the role.

The working hours fall between 19:00-07:00 for night shift.
