Catering Service Assistant

Wadham College, one of the largest Oxford colleges, is looking for a motivated, committed, and reliable individual to join the busy SCR/Hall Team on a permanent basis. You will be working alongside Wadham’s experienced SCR/Hall management team who have developed the team to ensure that excellent training opportunities are available and staff support is offered.

Salary: £25,979 per annum (£12.49 per hour).

The post holder will work across all catering service areas including waiting on tables, assisting in food service, cleaning service areas, ensuring high standards are maintained and working as part of a busy team. A can-do attitude is ideal.

Applicants should have experience of working in a similar catering role, good communication skills, ability to deliver excellent customer service, attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team.

The working hours are full time: 2080 hours per annum (based on a notional 40 hours per week) on a rota basis, inclusive of evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Working hours will vary in accordance with the weekly duty roster notified in advance by the Head of Department.
