Student Welfare
Wadham College takes the welfare of its students very seriously. There’s a wealth of confidential support available, all you have to do is ask.
Need to Talk?
Wadham’s Welfare Advisors provide individual welfare support—listening and signposting—for all Wadham students. You can talk confidentially and freely about any kind of social, emotional, personal, or psychological issues, without fear of judgement.

Students helping students
Sometimes you may want to talk to another student about what you are going through. That's why there are volunteers across the student body who would love to be there for you, or help you find the support you need. You can connect with them at welfare events or just email them directly. Please don't hesitate to reach out!
The Welfare Officers of the SU can provide referrals or general information about a range of welfare services.
Peer Supporters are Wadham students trained by the University Counselling Services to help with any issues you may have.
Study Advisors can help with issues such as time management, organising your reading productively or planning essays. Three of our Study Advisors are able to help students doing science subjects with general data analysis and statistical methods.
We are currently offering students the ability to self-refer. If you would like to register your interest for up to two 1-hour sessions with a Study Advisor, please use the email below.
