Summary
RESC is delighted to announce the visit of the celebrated Ukrainian writer, Andrey Kurkov, to Oxford this Sunday evening. The event will be comprised of a discussion with the author followed by a Q&A session with the audience. The event is free and all are welcome. The event will be in English.
Andrey Kurkov
Andrey Kurkov is one of Ukraine’s most celebrated and acclaimed writers. The author of novels including Death and the Penguin (1996) and Grey Bees (2018), Andrey has recently written two important works of non-fiction about current events in Ukraine: Ukraine Diaries: Dispatches from Kiev (2014) and Diary of an Invasion (2022). He has authored 19 novels and his works have been translated into over 30 languages. Andrey is the current President of PEN Ukraine.
