Thinking about life after Wadham? Interested in a career in PR, strategics communications, or public affairs? Want to find out more about careers in the communications sector? Come and meet alum Dan Rolle (Modern Languages, 2006) who will give a short talk on what strategic comms, PR, and public affairs are and why they make an interesting career choice now. There will then be a Q&A, where you can find out more about getting into the sector, the kinds of experiences you can have, and the scope of career paths you can take.
Dan is the Founder of Aporia Strategies, a strategic communications consultancy. He has devised and run high impact communications and public affairs programmes for some of the world's most prominent companies and brands and worked internationally with and in the UK, US, Yemen, Guinea and Mozambique, to EU member states, Djibouti and Somaliland, and more. He has also advised a range of organisations on international media and stakeholder engagement campaigns during humanitarian crises, diplomatic disputes and conflict situations. Dan studied French at Wadham and matriculated in 2006.
All students welcome, with lots of insight across STEM subjects and the humanities.
