Warden Welcomes: James Murray MP (PPE, 2001) and Tamara Cohen (History, 2001)

James Murray MP (PPE, 2001) and Tamara Cohen (History, 2001) join the Warden, Robert Hannigan CMG, in conversation in the Lodgings.

James and Tamara both started out as student journalists, editing the Oxford Student together. James has gone on to a political career, being Deputy Mayor of London for Housing in 2016-19, MP for Ealing North since 2019, and Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury since 2020. Tamara stayed in journalism and worked as Environment Editor and then a political journalist for the Daily Mail, before moving to Sky News as political correspondent since 2016. In that role she has broken a number of important stories, although none - so far - about the Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury.
