Diamond Light Source, the UK’s national synchrotron, has published a series of videos from its user community's 'Leading Lights'.

Paolo Radaelli, our Professorial Fellow in Physics and Dr Lee’s Professor of Experimental Philosophy at the Clarendon Laboratory, is among the researchers discussing their work and their time at Diamond Light Source.

Professor Radaelli's research focusses on the study of transition metal oxides displaying novel physical phenomena, such as high-temperature superconductivity, “colossal” magneto resistance or multiferroics behaviour. The aim is to apply this research to the next stage in computing technology.

Diamond Light Source is a not-for-profit limited company funded as a joint venture between UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) and Wellcome Trust. Watch the 'Leading Light' video to find out more about Professor Radaelli's research.
