Student Wins SU 'Fight Against Covid' Award

Ethan Jennings recognised for visiting and checking up on COVID patients.
The Oxford SU gave out a number of awards at their ceremony on the evening of June 21st. Ethan Jennings of Wadham (Chemistry, 2020) won the award for Fighting Against COVID.
The SU wrote:
"Congratulations to Ethan Jennings for winning this year’s Fighting Against COVID Award. Ethan has spent a large amount of their holidays visiting and checking up on COVID patients suffering with bad symptoms.
They have spent a significant amount of time and effort working with the NHS every single vacation since the start of the pandemic. He has been working 50-hour weeks regularly, putting in many hours traveling around all of Warwickshire, travelling to any office that requires his support."
Wadham has been witness to their commitment and is glad Ethan's tireless work toward such a good cause has been acknowledged in the wider student community.
