We continue to participate in the Food Rescuers initiative by donating surplus food from the College.

Wadham's Catering team reduces food waste while helping those experiencing homelessness in Oxford

Food Rescuers Oxford is a student-run society that distributes leftover food from Oxford colleges to the homeless. The students collect leftover lunch meals from Wadham most weekdays and give them directly to homeless people, along with wooden cutlery. The team, Mahirah Rahman (Food Rescuers Volunteer Coordinator) (Somerville), Leonie Erbenich (Pembroke), Finley Pond (Brasenose) and Shuayb Mohammed (Merton), are pictured collecting leftover meals from our Head Chef, Neil, which they distributed to people experiencing homelessness in Oxford.
